Our redecorated family room has a new layout that is elegant but very livable (we use this room a lot both for family life and entertaining). Virginia and her team built a serene new color scheme around our existing rug as requested and nudged us to a more modern/transitional look for the new furniture (while actively listening to our feedback about what we did and did not like). We love living in this room now! In addition to design skills, they bring a wonderfully positive can-do, get-it-done-now attitude. This has been a very frustrating time to try to get new furniture of course, but Virginia kept at it and after the suppliers to get things in hand and installed before Christmas for us. For example, they found a (perfect) floor sample available for a unique cabinet I wanted badly but which was otherwise out of stock for the foreseeable future. They made the whole process very easy with their coordinating of various subcontractors for painting, electric etc. and clearing out of our dated, pet-damaged old pieces. Which we liked a lot, but needed some updating and modernizing for our taste (think paint colors, kitchen cabinets and hardware, built-in shelves, fans and light fixtures, etc.). Enter Virginia who pulled off the most incredible transformation of a house we liked into a home we feel truly AMAZED to live in every day. Virginia and her team took time to understand our vision and style while adding ideas of their own that we never would have thought of - for example, they found some unique and beautiful light fixtures on which we are constantly complimented. They were extremely communicative, proactive, respectful of our timeline and budget, and in general, just delightful people to work with. Virginia also have a GREAT team of painters, electricians, carpenters, flooring experts, and even found us a stone mason at the last minute to build out our fireplace. Everyone they brought into our house was very friendly, professional, and efficient and we are so happy with the work that was done. During crazy pandemic times, we also couldn't believe that our projects actually all finished on time (!!!) and we were able to move into our beautiful new home on our target date. (They made a poster and cut-outs of furniture we could move around.) They were very professional while also treating me like a friend. They were always available and responsive when I needed them, but never pushy when it came to things, I did not need help with. In addition to picking and placing furniture, they helped me pick paint colors, light and fan fixtures, and material for custom made valances.
