To Kill A Mockingbird, by Harper Lee — $15,000

First Edition, First Printing. This ORIGINAL First Issue dust jacket has the Jonathan Daniels quote printed on the back flap with the Capote quote in green ink with some minor condition issues to the dust jacket. The photos accurately show the details concerning condition of dust cover.  The book is in great shape and is bound in the original publisher’s green cloth spine with brown paper boards. The binding is tight with no wear to the edges. The pages are clean with only the name “Turner” printed in ink and the amount 3.95 written in pencil. A superb copy of this TRUE FIRST EDITION with the words “First Edition” printed on the copyright page.

Early 20th Century Sterling Peacock — $875

This gorgeously detailed sterling peacock was possibly used to hold nuts or candy. Height is 4″ at top of beak and is about 9 3/4″ long. Both wings are hinged. This piece has beautifully detailed plume. It is marked sterling and L.W. Talbot on the underside of the tail feathers. This is a nice statement piece to be displayed. It has no dings or dents, and in my opinion, doesn’t even need cleaning. The eyes of the peacock are brown with black iris.
